Not much change tonight. Overall dry, outside of patchy drizzle. Mist and fog in places too. Later on, some rain will move into northwestern areas. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in light southerly breezes.

On Saturday morning patchy outbreaks of rain will occur, gradually sinking away southwestwards during the early afternoon with some sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures of 10 or 11 degrees. Moderate southwest winds will veer northwesterly later, as clearer but colder weather follows.
OUTLOOK: Gradually becoming more unsettled with indications of colder weather for early 2025.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Overall dry with clear spells apart from the odd shower across western and northern counties. Colder than recent nights with a change of airmass moving in; lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees with some frost possible. Moderate westerly winds will freshen towards morning.
SUNDAY: Most areas will be dry and rather breezy with some sunny spells. However, some scattered showers will occur too, mainly affecting Ulster and Connacht. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in mostly fresh southwest winds. Breezy on Sunday night with well scattered showers across Atlantic counties. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong southwest winds.
MONDAY: Staying breezy with outbreaks of rain across Ulster and Connacht, gradually turning heavier through the day. Mostly dry elsewhere with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in fresh to strong southwest winds.
TUESDAY (NEW YEAR'S EVE): Some uncertainty but at present it looks windy enough with fresh to strong and gusty southwesterlies. Staying wet up across the north and west.
