Tonight will start mostly dry with clear spells and just a few isolated showers. Cloud will thicken in the west and south overnight, with rain developing in the southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light winds becoming southeasterly overnight and freshening in the southwest by morning.
Becoming wet and blustery on Sunday morning with rain spreading northeastwards over the country, heavy at times with fresh southeasterly winds developing. The rain will clear eastwards in the afternoon, followed by sunny spells and showers, some heavy. Winds will veer southwesterly behind the rain, and increase strong and gusty in western and southwestern coastal counties later. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, coldest in Ulster.

Monday night: Remaining blustery for a time on Monday night with fresh westerly winds. Most areas will be dry with clear spells and isolated showers. However, more frequent showers will continue in Ulster. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
Tuesday: Dry for most at first on Tuesday with sunny spells. However, cloud will build from the southwest through the morning with outbreaks of rain spreading northeastwards through the day, turning heavy in the west and southwest later. Moderate southwest winds will freshen with the rain. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.
Wednesday: A bright and blustery day with sunny spells and isolated showers. Fresh to strong westerly winds will reach gale force on northern and northwestern coasts. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.
