Any patches of mist or drizzle will soon clear. It will be a warm and humid day with a mix of cloud, sunny spells and a few showers. Showers are most likely across the west and northwest of the country. It will become breezy and overcast along the Atlantic seaboard by evening with rain developing there later. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees with mostly moderate south to southwest breezes.

Patchy rain and drizzle will spread gradually eastwards across the country tonight but many eastern counties will remain dry until dawn. A humid night with lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with moderate southerly winds increasing fresh to strong on the Atlantic seaboard.

Amárach

There'll be scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle about early on Friday but with some sunny spells also. However, a spell of heavy rain will move in across the western half of the country by late morning, extending eastwards through the afternoon. Meanwhile, a clearance to sunshine and isolated showers will follow to western areas, before extending nationwide during the evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees in fresh and gusty southerly winds, warmest in the east.
