Dry for many today with just a few isolated showers mainly over the western half of the country. The best of the sunny spells will be further east as cloud builds from the west through the day, with some rain and drizzle arriving into the west towards nightfall. A cool day with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, with light westerly winds backing southerly through the day.

Anocht

Wet breezy conditions, reaching the west coast before midnight, will spread over much of the country tonight. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with moderate southerly winds, increasing fresh at times with the rain.

Amárach

Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy to begin with outbreaks of rain. The rain will clear eastwards through the morning and early afternoon, followed by sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees as the rather fresh southerly winds turn westerly and gradually ease.
