Tonight, rain will continue and will be heavy at times with spot flooding possible. It will gradually clear to the northeast overnight. It wil be quite windy in Munster and south Leinster with fresh to strong, gusty southwest winds, becoming northwest to west and easing by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

Amárach

Friday will bring sunny spells and showers, mainly in the west at first and becoming more widespread for the afternoon. Some will be heavy with isolated thunderstorms and the chance of hail, especially in the west and north. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate southwest winds freshening in the afternoon.
