Cloudy but mostly dry to start today with patchy drizzle and mist. Turning breezy during the afternoon with outbreaks of rain moving in from the southwest. The rain will turn more persistent in the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with fresh and gusty southeasterly winds developing, stronger near coasts.
Wet and blustery with widespread persistent rain turning heavy at times especially in southern counties. Thundery bursts are possible with spot flooding likely. Temperatures not falling below 11 to 13 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds.

Heavy and persistent rain in the north and east at first, with further thundery falls and spot flooding possible. The rain will clear northeastwards through the morning with sunshine and showers following from the southwest. Fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds at first but winds will ease moderate southwesterly behind the rain. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.

Sunday night: Clear spells and showers for most, though a longer spell of rain will move into the south and southwest, turning heavy at times. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light to moderate variable winds, with some mist and fog patches forming.
Monday: A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, merging to longer spells of rain at times over parts of Leinster. The best of the sunny spells will be further west. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees in a light to moderate north to northwest wind.
Monday night: Further scattered showers overnight with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Mist and fog patches possible in a light westerly wind.
Tuesday: A band of showery rain will spread from the northwest early Tuesday with lighter showers and good spells of sunshine following behind. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds.
Tuesday night: Dry for most overnight with some clear spells as showers become confined to Atlantic coastal counties. Lowest temperatures 5 to 9 degrees, in a light, occasionally moderate west to southwest winds.
Further outlook: There is a large amount of uncertainty in the forecast from midweek. There is the potential for our weather to turn rather unsettled with temperatures decreasing as we go through the week.
