“Stories from the Great Lighthouses of Ireland”
with David Hare of InProduction.TV on Thursday 24th November at 7pm.
David Hare, producer of the Great Lighthouses of Ireland TV series, will entertain the audience with stories from the Great Irish Lighthouses such as the raid on the Fastnet; the destruction of the Calf Rock Lighthouse – Ireland’s nuclear lighthouse; Brendan Behan at St John’s Point and the lives of the lightship keepers.

David has been a TV producer for 30 years and as well as producing two series of Great Lighthouses of Ireland, has made documentaries about historic Irish gardens, Myrtle Allen, the country house Ballyfin and Henry McIlhenry & Glenveagh National Park. He also produces Nevin Maguire’s and Rory O’Connell’s series’. He lives in Derrynane, Co. Kerry with a great view of Bull Rock Lighthouse.
