Please note - you must then set up email subscriptions within the account to receive our county-based weather warnings via email. Accounts with no subscriptions set up will not receive weather warning emails.
Your Weather Warnings Alerting Service account also includes an option to subscribe to receive Status Red weather warnings by SMS for your chosen county(s), free of charge*.
Push notifications for all weather warning levels (yellow, orange and red) for all your chosen counties are available on the latest version of the Met Éireann app. You do not need to register here if you prefer to receive alerts via the app.
*Operator charge applies to SMS sent to countries outside the EU. Please refer to operator policy for charges.
