Tonight

It'll become largely dry tonight with largely clear skies for a time. With winds decreasing light and variable though, mist and fog will form, becoming dense in places. Cold with frost and ice forming as temperatures dip to between -2 and +3 degrees generally, though it'll be less cold in southwestern coastal parts.

Tomorrow

The frost, ice, mist and fog will clear early on Wednesday and it'll be dry for a time, with some hazy sunshine across the eastern half of the country. However, cloud will thicken from the west early on with rain spreading from the Atlantic through the late morning and afternoon. Becoming windy as southerly winds increase fresh to strong and gusty with gales for a time in coastal parts of the west. Milder with the rain with highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.
