A chilly start with fog and frost patches clearing as southerly winds begin to freshen. Many parts of the country will be dry with a mix of cloud and hazy sunshine, but patchy rain will affect Atlantic counties, turning more persistent across west Munster and west Connacht later. Gradual snow melt may lead to localised flooding. Milder than recent times with highest temperatures of 6 to 12 degrees, coolest in Ulster.

Breezy tonight with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle across the country, persistent across southern counties. Becoming milder with temperatures overnight falling no lower than 7 to 11 degrees with fresh and gusty south to southwest winds.

Tomorrow

Mild and breezy on Monday with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in fresh and gusty south to southwest winds. There'll be mist and fog along some coasts and over the hills. Gradual snow melt may lead to localised flooding.
