Mostly cloudy overnight with outbreaks of rain moving in across Munster and extending into parts of Connacht by morning. Southeasterly winds will strengthen in the southwest too, increasing fresh to strong and gusty. The rest of the country will stay largely dry apart from isolated showers, with light to moderate south to southeast winds. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees.

Tomorrow

Sunday will be wet and windy with outbreaks of rain extending northeastwards over the country through the morning and early afternoon, heaviest and most persistent in the south and southeast with flooding likely. The rain will be accompanied by fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds, with onshore gales on southern and eastern coasts. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees.
