Sunny spells this morning but becoming cloudier from the west with scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle developing, mainly for the western half of the country with many eastern areas staying fully dry. Humid, with highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees in mostly light to moderate southerly winds, fresher for Atlantic coastal areas.

Mild, humid and cloudy tonight with further outbreaks of rain, most frequent for Atlantic coastal counties. Temperatures not falling below 13 to 15 degrees in mostly light to moderate southerly breezes allowing patchy mist and hill fog to develop.

Amárach

A dull, damp and misty start to the day with outbreaks of rain, becoming patchier through the day with a clearance to hazy sunny spells gradually building in from the west through the afternoon and evening to most areas. Continuing humid with highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees with light to moderate southerly or variable breezes with some coastal fog likely for the south.
