Scattered showers in Ulster and Leinster tonight, some possibly heavy. Otherwise cold and largely dry with clear spells and just isolated light showers. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in a light northerly breeze with a touch of grass frost possible.
Amárach
Plenty of sunshine on Thursday, and dry for many, apart from a few showers, these mainly affecting Connacht and Ulster. On the cooler side of normal for October with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in light to moderate north to northwest winds.
