Starting out quite cloudy today with scattered outbreaks of rain, drizzle and mist mainly over Connacht and Ulster. The rain will largely clear by this afternoon and so it'll be generally dry for the rest of the day apart from the odd light shower. Becoming brighter too with some sunny spells developing through the day, hazy at times. Afternoon highs of generally 14 to 18 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, fresh at times towards Atlantic coasts.

Some light and patchy rain or drizzle may affect northwestern coasts overnight but otherwise it will be mostly dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Patches of mist and fog will form in light to moderate southerly winds. A mild night with temperatures not falling below 9 to 12 degrees.

After a cloudy start any lingering rain or drizzle in the northwest will clear to leave a dry day. It will also brighten up through the morning with some hazy sunshine developing, becoming widespread by the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, coolest near the south coast due to a light to moderate southerly breeze.
